About us
Founded on February 25, 2016, the HungerNdThirst Foundation is the vision of Robert Greene – a former nurse and two-time cancer survivor. His own cancer journey revealed something he hadn’t fully grasped, even as a healthcare professional: the life-altering impact of taste changes during treatment. What began as a personal realization has grown into a mission to raise awareness, inspire empathy, and support those affected by cancer.
At the Patient Inclusive Advocacy Foundation, formerly known as the HungerndThirst Foundation, we are dedicated to ensuring that all cancer patients, regardless of their background or medical condition, have access to equitable, high-quality healthcare. Rooted in the principles of diversity, inclusion, and patient empowerment, we work to amplify the voices of these patients in policy discussions, healthcare innovations, and research initiatives.
As a strategic partner to policymakers, healthcare institutions, healthcare companies and patient organizations, we advocate for evidence-based solutions that address the physical, emotional, and nutritional needs of patients. Our mission is to drive meaningful change in the healthcare landscape by fostering collaboration between patients, professionals, and industry leaders.
Our work is primarily driven by dedicated volunteers, and much of our funding relies on contributions and sponsorships. While volunteer support remains essential, we also recognize the value of engaging paid contributors when needed to ensure the quality and continuity of our efforts. We take great pride in using our funds responsibly and transparently, in full accordance with our ANBI (Public Benefit Organisation) status.
